BORGO ANTICO
The house, situated in the ancient center of MONOPOLI (BA), is only 30 mt. far from SANTA MARIA AMALFITANA’S CHURCH, XIIth century romanic masterpiece.
Newly renovated with a wood garret and two floors, the house offers services such as T.V. (SAT if required), AIR CONDITIONING SISTEM, CENTRAL HEATING, SAFE, ARMOURED MAIN DOOR and a wide range of BED & TABLE LINEN and POTS AND PANS.
The house can host up to 4 people: 2 in the double bedroom, 1 in the single room and 1 in the divan bed (located in the living room).
All the charm of Apulia is to be found along a route which embraces the loveliest and most popular touristic resorts in the region.
The towns on the coast, all sea, sun and history are joined by those immediately inland, each known for something "special": caves, forest and trulli.
MONOPOLI: one of the largest towns in the province of Bari, Monopoli has a varied and flourishing economy that includes agriculture, trade, industry and tourism…a marine town, rich in culture, but also a city of "masserie": farm dwellings with agricultural premises as well defending the unlimited wilderness of the large landed estates like strongholds or towers.
POLIGNANO A MARE: historical centre standing on the edge of a high cliff, riddled with caves, Polignano a Mare offers crystalline sea, beautiful coast and a Medieval quarter overlooking the sea (9 km).
CASTELLANA GROTTE: second stage of our brief trip is a town, Castellana Grotte, famous for the splendid caves produced by the large underground rivers and which represent the most spectacular and grandiose speleological complex in Italy (14 km).
ALBEROBELLO: creating a fairy-tale landscape the "trulli", in groups or along the narrow alleys climbing the hill, give a touch of magic to this wonderful territory allowing Alberobello to dominate one of the most beautiful views in the Valle d’Itria (18 km).
OSTUNI: a straight road dotted with lush olive groves takes us to our last stage: Ostuni, the "white city". A stunning view welcomes our arrival: a town climbing to the top of three hills with all the houses perfectly whitewashed (40 km).
Well... now we both think that the rent house "BORGO ANTICO" is just:
A GATEWAY TO THE MAGIC ...
