The scenery around Blåvand is strikingly beautiful. The countryside is unique with large nature reserves comprising sand dunes, woods and moorland. A walk along one of the many local nature trails is the perfect way to recharge your batteries. Many holidaymakers return to this part of the west coast year after year to experience the magic of the North Sea, which never fails to impress whatever the season. The area has a rich animal and bird life, and Denmarks largest wild animal, the red deer, can be observed here in its natural habitat.
