Calajala
"Ca'Lajala" is a tastefully restored old country house situated in a very quiet area only 4 km (2.5 miles) from Urbino – a world-renowned town famed for its spectacular Ducal Palace and unique Renaissance architecture.
Because of it’s advantageous location, the house is ideal for those seeking the peace and privacy of the countryside, the celebrated artistic sights and cultural events of Urbino, as well as the entertainment value of the beach which is only 30 minutes away.

"Ca'Lajala" consists of two apartments: our residence and a second separate dwelling which we rent – both homes have their own private entrance. The house is fenced and only accessible through an automated gate with intercom.
The spacious garden (4000m2) is framed by ancient oaks, fruit trees and even includes a mini-playground for children complete with swings and a teeter-tooter. The breathtaking view includes the surrounding green “Cesane” hills, an ancient stone town protected by the ruins of a medieval tower and a vast valley leading to the seashore.
The apartment is new and comfortably furnished. The kitchen is fully equipped with a new stove, oven, refrigerator/freezer and kitchenware. The living room includes a satellite TV. Children’s furniture including cribs and high chairs is also available upon request.

Urbino is a historic town famous for its stunning Ducal Palace – perhaps the finest Renaissance court in Europe. The palace can be visited daily and features some of the most significant masterpieces of the Italian Renaissance including paintings by Raffaello Sanzio and Piero della Francesca.
The house is less than 30 minutes from the beach and it is ideally located to provide comfortable access to the rest of central Italy, including the numerous towns in the Montefeltro area – renowned for its art and traditions.
The Umbria region (featuring the towns of Gubbio, Assisi, Todi) and Emilia Romagna (Rimini, Bologna, Ravenna) are less than one hour away. Tuscany, Rome and Venice are all within 4-5 hour driving distance.

The nearest international airports are in the nearby city of Bologna (approx. 2.5 hours away), Forlì (approx. 1.5 hours) Rimini (approx. 1 hour and Ancona (approx 1.5 hour).
