CHEZ LUQUET gites & pool are located in a tiny hamlet of just 4 houses, S.W. of Angouleme in the sunny, uncrowded, south Charente.
Here you can explore pretty villages and market towns; go fishing, riding, cycling, golfing, sailboarding, canoeing; see the chateaux and Romanesque churches; visit Aubeterre, Cognac, St. Emilion, Bordeaux and the Atlantic beaches; stroll over to a neighbouring farm for fresh milk and eggs; or just sit back, sip your wine and enjoy the view!
A charming, converted, hillside farmhouse with its own swimming pool and pretty views over vines, woodland, maize and grazing Charolais cattle, yet only 10 minutes drive from shops, restaurants and tennis.
Chez Luquet comprises two, self contained gites which can be rented together, sleeping 14 in 7 double bedrooms, or as separate gites, sleeping 8 & 6 respectively.

LE GRENIER GITE.
Sleeps 6 in 3 double bedrooms (2 single, 1 double, 1 pair of bunk beds).
There is a large airy, comfortably furnished, double aspect living room with a sunny, s.w. facing balcony, massive oak beams and exposed stonework & lots of character. A shower room with watercloset (WC) and hand basin is complemented by a second separate W.C.
The kitchen is fully equipped for 6, including a washing machine, fridge, freezer, gas cooker, microwave, electric kettle etc.
Outside, Le Grenier has its own private garden & pergola.
LE JARDIN GITE
Sleeps 8 in 4 double bedrooms (4 single, 1 double and 1 pair of bunk beds).
Lounge 1 has an open fireplace, beamed ceiling, pine dining table, 8 chairs, a 3 seater sofa, cupboards, chests and French windows opening onto a private side garden & patio.
Lounge 2/Bedroom 4 is large enough for 2 single beds, sofa, armchair, wardrobe, chest of drawers and a folding, full size table tennis table.
The kitchen is fully equipped for 8, including a washing machine, fridge/freezer, gas cooker, microwave ,electric kettle etc.
Washroom 1 has a bath with shower mixer, hand basin, hot towel rail and W.C.
Washroom 2 has a step in shower, hand basin, bidet, hot towel rail .
There is also a second separate W.C.

Services.
A reasonable consumption of electricity, gas and hot water are included in the rental.
Blankets and pillows are supplied, but not linen (e.g. sheets). Electric heaters, cot, highchair & bed linen hire are available for a supplement.
Outside.
Each gite has a separate, grassed, sitting out area provided with garden furniture and barbecue as well as the two communal grass terraces near the fenced & gated 32ft x 16ft (9.75m x 4.88m) swimming pool. The more adventurous can explore the adjoining woods or steep hillside. Chez Luquet stands on 1 hectare of land.
