A home-from-home for all ages and a nature-lovers paradise! Our comfortable mas is a 250-year old renovated farmhouse. The Chateau de Portes, steeped in history, is just a short walk away and ideal for a sundowner after a fun day. In the heart of the Cevennes National Park access is by a locked private drive, magnificent views over the valley. Extensive natural grounds with fruit trees, willows, oak, mimosa, chestnut and indigenous pine. Two large terraces (1 covered) each with tables & chairs allowing all meals to be taken al fresco. Fully equipped kitchen/dining area with Welsh dresser, archway to sitting room with both antique leather & modern comfortable furniture. Upstairs landing, 2 bedrooms, shower room, toilet. Access to walking and biking from the bottom of the garden. Buzzard, deer, red squirrel and wild boar visit. If you enjoy outdoors, clear river & stream swimming, walking, cycling or relaxing cooking, painting or reading in complete privacy -this is the place for you!
