A superb location for this house, nestling in beautiful, secluded countryside with only the views of woods and fields around you. Perfect for those seeking a peaceful country retreat, yet within easy reach of both the Charente and Dordogne departments' numerous attractions. It is only 5 mins from the hamlet of Ronsenac (grocer, butcher, café) and 10 mins from Villebois Lavalette, a small town with all amenities and a big supermarket.
POOL
10m x 5 m pool, salt water system. Faces south. Fully fenced with solar shower.
LOUNGE
There is a spacious living/dining room, with doors opening out to the east and south terraces. As there are a total of four patio doors in this large 40 m2 room, there is a lovely feeling of space and light and being at one with the surrounding countryside. An open fireplace is situated in one corner. There is a colour TV, video, DVD player and satellite TV (free to air) installed 2005. Also a CD / tape hi-fi system.
A very large solid wood table with 8 chairs is situated on the side next to the kitchen. There is a phone that can be used with "le Ticket" phone card for outgoing calls, but incoming calls are free. Full connection can be arranged and both previous long winter lets had internet connection. We have had two successful long winter lets and they are more than happy to give you any further information.
KITCHEN
A modern, well-equipped kitchen with breakfast bar, plenty of worktop space, dish-washer, washing machine, fridge-freezer, cooker, toaster and electric kettle. With a good selection of crockery, glasses, cooking equipment and all you need for that home from home feeling.
The window looks out towards the west over fields so there are beautiful sunset scenes while preparing the evening meal. By going through the next door games room, you can get to the large patio with shaded eating area for alfresco dining, cooking on the barbecue while enjoying undisturbed views across the fields and woods.
GAMES ROOM
It has a table tennis table, which can be folded up and brought outside on to the terrace. There is also a dartboard, together with numerous board games. A large room (6m x 3.5M), it is also very useful for storage.
BEDROOMS
1 double (kingsized bed) with ensuite shower. Patio doors to south terrace. 2 twins. 1 bunk room ensuite toilet/basin. Patio doors to south terrace.
