The Pelion peninsula in the region of Central Greece, is one of the most beautiful and unique parts of the entire country. It is a place where myth meets nature, and the stunning landscape is a treat to all who visit this truly majestic region. The perfect combination of mountains and sea make Pelion an ideal holiday destination throughout the year.
Situated along the coast of the Pagasitic Gulf, 46km from the port city of Volos, is the charming and picturesque coastal village of Kalamos. It is here that you will find "Margianou Apartments" from which we welcome you to Pelion and look forward to offering you a wonderful selection of accommodation for your stay.
The charming "Marginanou Apartments" are located on a beautiful hillside, providing some truly inspiring views of the bay of Kalamos and out towards the blue waters of the Pagasitic Gulf. Our apartments are situated in our two-story traditional building, that consists of four separate family apartments.
All of the apartments have: Air Condition, TV, Wireless Internet, Kitchen, Refrigerator, Private Bedroom, Fireplace, Private shower / WC and a daily maid service.
The apartments also each have a lovely balcony, where you can sit back and enjoy some beautiful views of the sea and Kalamos. For those who are seeking a peaceful and quiet place for Pelion is the perfect holiday destination for those who enjoy the natural elements that make places such as this so beautiful and unique.
It is greatly recommended that those planning to visit Kalamos which will provide a greater freedom for travelling around the region. At our apartments we have a parking facility for our guests who have their own car.

It is an ideal place from which visitors can venture out and visit some of the other famous sites of the Pelion peninsula.
Local Activities:
Excursions to the other Pelion (tradiotional) villages of Makrinitsa", "Milies","Vizitsa","Zagora" , "Trikeri" and Beaches of “Potistika”,“Paltsi” and "Milopotamos" on Aegean Sea.
Excursion to the Rocks-Holy Monesteries of "Meteora"( On the mainland in the north, these extraordinary monasteries built into huge needle like smooth rocks. The monks sought a hiding place from the Byzantine raids. They are reached by steps carved into the rocks).

Take a budget or scheduled flight to Thessaloniki or Athens airports.Apartments are located on the North-West site of the Pelion Peninsula, ten minutes/400m walk from the bay of Kalamos, staring at the Pagasitic Gulf.
The nearest village is Argalasti, which is 6km (10 min) from the Apartments.
The nearest city is Volos, which is 40km (50 min) from Argalasti.
Volos is the capital city of this region. It was built at the foot of the mountain of Pelion, it is 325km (4 hours) from Athens and 216km (3 hours) from Thessaloniki Airports.
The roads from Thessaloniki /Athens to Volos are four - lane motorways,
Travellers also can use air, and land at the nearby airport of Anhialos , which is about 25Km from Volos, although this airport only operates during the season from 1 April to 31 October.
