The valley of Lesa is called the natural paradise of Europe and is separated from Italy only by a mountain crest. Holidays in the valley of Lesa are holidays for the whole family. Whether you long for quietness and rest in an unique scenery or for true hospitality off the mass tourism, the valley of Lesa offers more than 300 kms of hikings trails in the Carinthian Alps and the Lienz Dolomites. The landlords guide you along the most beautiful trails of the surroundings. Information for choosing the suitable excursions, equipment hire (maps, descriptions, etc...). Rafting, paddle, canyoning, Mega Dive , hydrospeed, etc... are also possible. Barbecue evenings and torchlight processions are organised. Several skiing areas: Golzentipp-Lesachtal, Nassfeld or Durnthal and cross-country trails (approx. 60 kms) are situated close to Liesing. Our family farmhouse with the four holiday apartments is situated in Liesing on a height of approx. 1050 m. On the southern side there are the fields of the farmhouse and you have a free view to the surrounding mountains. Children have enough space for playing at their disposal.
The holiday apartment furnished in the local style is located on the second floor of the house. The entrance hall leads to the equipped kitchen (refrigerator incl. freezer, dish washer, oven, etc...) with a small dining corner for four persons. In the large bedroom with double bed there is a sitting corner with sofa and SAT-TV and access to the southern balcony with nice view to the mountains. Second bedroom with two single beds. Bathroom with shower, toilet and bath towel heating appliance. The lower floors are inhabited by the landlords.
The Stube (large room) from the year 1815 is on the ground floor and the meeting point of the guests wanting to spend cosy hours together. Children and of course adults too! can help in the stable or in the fields and they can also feed the animals.
Free of charge entrance in the heated open-air swimming pool Lesachtal in Liesing situated approx. 4 kms from the farmhouse away.

Electricity: according to use (approx. € 0,25 per kwh). Shared washing machine against charge. Baby set (baby cot, high chair, babyfon and changing unit) free of charge on request.
