THE JOFFERS HOUSE
Comfort and luxury assured! All rooms are delightfully furnished and reflect the owner's keen eye for detail and style. Art on the wall, wooden floors, soft white painted walls, cozy furniture, and the comfort of all 'mod cons' make The Joffers' House a truly unique holiday house.

From the spacious, cozy living room with modern open fire place, and from the luxurious kitchen you'll have a wonderful view over the picturesque village green with the typical Dutch church in the middle a stone's throw away.

From the lovely dining room two French doors lead to the cozy garden terrace where comfortable garden furniture awaits you. The 'morning terrace' is wonderful to take your breakfast, and when the sun stands high in the sky the shady sitting area underneath the old oak tree is a cool spot to retreat to.

The 3 upstairs bedrooms are individually designed and have their special atmosphere. Two are double, the 3rd one is a single bedroom. There is a light and luxurious bathroom which is equipped with a double marble washbasin, big bath, shower and toilet. On the ground floor you will find a 2nd toilet. The garage has room for your car and bicycles.

WHAT TO DO
The Joffers' House is situated near the beautiful river 'de Maas'and is a perfect place from which to explore the versatile area. Many cycling -and walking routes start directly from the Joffers' House. For those who love nature there is plenty in abundance! A stone's throw away from The Joffers' House you'll find six spectacular nature-reserves, as well as beautiful gardens of the medieval castle in Arcen, Thermal Bads, lakes for watersports, boat trips and so much more...

As for cultural outings- there is plenty to do as well. You'll find many interesting historical towns as well as typical local museums such as the 'Streekboerdery de Locht' and 'the National War-and Resistence Museum' in Overloon.

Just across the border with Germany you can visit the beautiful pilgrimage town of Kevelaer, and within an hour's drive you'll be in the vibrant city centers of Dusseldorf, Maastricht or Eindhoven.

In the summer you'll spontaneously find yourself in the middle of a cultural, historical or gourmet festivities. Just to mention a few- the famous 'Rose Festival' in Lottum, the weekly local markets where products from the area are shown and tasted, the 'Asparagus Festival' but also the outdoor classical music events which are held on spectacular outdoor- and historical sites.

An afternoon on 'the Maashopper', a luxurious boat that takes bikers and walkers onto the river Maas is a truly wonderful experienc as well. Lunch can be taken on one of the outdoor cafe's which are dotted along the banks of this beautiful river.
