The apartment in Quinta da Gomeira is set in a quiet location in Cabanas but is within a few minutes walk from village centre. Tavira town is 3.5km away and a 45 minute drive from Faro airport. Cabanas is a living, traditional Algarvian community: the village is active year-round. It provides everything needed for your holiday and enables you to get up-close to the Portuguese people and the glimpse their daily life. Fruit, fish, meat and vegetables can be bought fresh every day at the market while several supermarkets provide groceries. Explore the local historical monuments including the nearby 18th century fort and stunning views from the cliff-top path over the tranquil lagoon. This apartment is especially suitable for keen golfers.
Bedrooms: 2 twin bedrooms each with 2 single bed, bedside tables, lamp, mirror, chair and one 'Put-U-Up' and fitted wardrobes.
Bathroom: Modern bathroom with bath, shower, wash basin, shelf, cupboard, bidet and WC.
Kitchen: The fully equipped kitchen includes Ariston washing machine, electric cooker, gas hob, fridge/freezer, microwave oven, iron and ironing board, coffee maker, toaster and fire extinguisher. This leads to a sunny south-facing enclosed corner balcony.
Living Rooms: Lounge/dining room with 2 sofas, sideboard and coffee tables, fans (2), dining table and 6 dining chairs, radio, video, DVD and TV. Large selection of books and games. Table linen is provided.
Other: This apartment is suitable for children and winter lets.
Cleaning/towels/linen/maid service: Fresh bed linen and bathroom towels are provided every 7 days (inc long term winter lets) and this apartment is cleaned by the owner once a week. We live very close to the apartment and can deal personally and immediately with any extra requirements.
Notes on accommodation
The ground floor apartment is appropriate for those who prefer no stairs to climb. The balcony is safe for children.
Outside
Parking is available right outside the front door. Secure hallway with telephone entry point leads via a few steps to the ground floor hall and stairway. Guests have a choice of four fabulous gated and monitored swimming pools.
