The house is situated in Quart, a small village of 2000 inhabitants, 5 km drive from Girona, 25 km from La Costa Brava, 35 km from Figueres, 100 km from Barcelona, 60 km from the border with France and overlooking The Gavarres Massif

Accommodation: Occupancy for 8/10 people with 200 m2 inhabitable space and a 1000 m2 backyard. The house has 4 double rooms, 2 bathrooms, dinning room, living area, fully equipped kitchen, pantry, lumber room and own parking area for up to 8 vehicles. Spectacular views to The Gavarres Massif.

The location offers a wide range of activities. You can practice basketball or swimming onsite. Biking is possible with the Green Way Girona-Costa Brava. This bike lane, situated only 200 m. far from the house, is 40km long and joins Girona with Sant Feliu de Guíxols.

Hiking is another activity you can enjoy. The house is in the foothills of The Gavarres Massif and a 2 hour walk route leads you to the Sanctuary of la Mare de Déu dels Àngels, where on a clear day the Mediterranean Sea can be seen.

Quart is a main place in Girona in the making of pottery. A typical product is the black pottery.

Beach: the whole Costa Brava is within a 30 to 40 minutes drive. There are nice villages such as Sant Feliu de Guíxols, Tossa de Mar, Blanes, Lloret de Mar, Platja d'Aro, Palamós, Calella de Palafrugell, Begur, Pals, l'Estartit, l'Escala, Sant Martí d'Empúries, Roses, Port de la Selva, Llança and Cadaqués. Girona, situated at 5km., is one of the most beautiful cities in Spain. There is an old quarter where you can find The Cathedral, the Jewish quarter ( one of the most important in Europe) and the wall enclosing part of the city of Girona. We recommend you try the cuisine in Girona.

We also recommend a visit to the Dalí Museum in Figueres ( 30 minutes) or an escape to Barcelona ( 60 minutes) to look at some jewels of Gaudí's architecture, La Rambla, the market of La Boqueria, Montjuic, Tibidabo, la Vila Olímpica...
