Description of the Property - Vacation Apartment rarotonga
Our home is a confortable house with walk access to a white sand beach, blu lagoon, coral reef and sorrounded by a pleasant garden with tropical trees, plants and flowers. We are in Arorangi the west side of the island, 8 km from the capital Avarua and 5 km from the international airport (daily flights to/from New Zealand/Australia and 3 times a week direct fly to Tahiti/Los Angeles). It is a quite place and safe area, as is the rest of the island. The area is full of oudoor recreational opportunities including: boating, fishing, biking, walking, snorkelling, diving safari tours and scenic flights. You can also enjoy a whale watching, shopping at the Punanga Nui Market where you will be able to find local arts and crafts and the beautiful south pacific black pearls. A traditional dance show along with a taste of polynesian cuisine is helded twice a week at the Edgewater Resort just next door to our place. There are also food shops and restaurants at walking distance. Our neibours are friendly and ready to help you if you need. Rarotonga is a good departing point for island hopping. Several flights leave everyday to go to the outer islands. The Aitutaki emerald lagoon and Atiu caves with kopeka birds are only 50 minute away. We have a 4x4 car Isuzu Trooper, a motorcycle and 2 montain bike possible to be rented.

We are an Italian couple both in our fifty. We have lived in Italy, Thailand and Philippines before exploring the South Pacific and settling in Rarotonga. We are running a little Italian Restaurant ( Da 'CARLO ' ) and we enjoy tranquility and island style life. We are non smokers and we love cooking, reading, good movie, travelling and discover new destinations.
