Welcome to the Paradise Found at North Pointe Condominiums in the beautiful Cayman Kai / Rum Point area of Grand Cayman Island. Paradise Found offers a Tropical Vacation with some of the best Scuba Diving and Snorkeling in the Caribbean. Don't be fooled by the claims of "Ocean Front" or "Ocean Views". Many of the condo rentals in the Rum Point and Cayman Kai area are on the inland sides of the island and water views are of the inland waterways. DESCRIPTION
The condominium complex was completely destroyed by hurricane Ivan in 2004 and has been completely rebuilt from the ground up, inside & out, and completed in August of 2006. The new construction is solid concrete walls and ceilings between the lower and second floors which provides a soundproofing barrier between the condo units. The ocean view is spectacular. Paradise Found Condo is one of only ten units in the complex and is an end unit. It is a beach front unit with spectacular views from the screen enclosed lanai and all bedrooms. This area is perfect for snorkeling just off the beach over coral formations with its beautiful colors, tropical fish, conch, and lobster. You can enjoy the oceanfront pool and just relax, or take long walks on the white sand beach. You will love the beautiful ocean views of Paradise Found in Grand Cayman Island.
LOCATION
Paradise Found is a quiet luxury oceanfront condo located in the upscale Cayman Kai / Rum Point area on the North Side of Grand Cayman Island.
HIGHLIGHTS
There are many dive sites on the North Side of Grand Cayman Island to accommodate your diving pleasures. Sting Ray City is only a 10-minute boat ride away where you can dive and hand feed the stingrays. Dive the Cayman Barrier Reef, which is only a few hundred feet from your doorstep.
Our brand new, 2nd floor, Luxury END UNIT, is 1250 sq.ft., and accommodates up to six guests. It has two bedrooms and two full baths. Both bedrooms have ocean views with sliding glass doors that open to a large open air lanai with yet another beautiful ocean view. The condo has central air, ceiling fans throughout, beach front pool, lanai, cable TV, VCR, CD, stereo, phone, dish washer, washer / dryer, BBQ grill, linens, towels, and complete kitchen including full size refrigerator & freezer with ice maker, blender, toaster, coffee maker, and microwave. The kitchen also features beautiful granite counter tops throughout. The living room also has ocean views with vaulted ceilings and beautiful imported tile floors, full size sofa, two large chairs, tables, and an entertainment unit. The dining room has a vaulted ceiling, a beautiful rattan, glass-top table, and seating for six. The screened lanai is perfect for relaxing, reading a book, or watching the sunset. The lanai features a large open air space with ocean views in all directions, tile floor, table and chairs, and a lounger. The ocean views are breathtaking from about every room in the condo. Just relax, as you listen to the waves crashing the shore from the comfort of Paradise Found.
ACTIVITIES
There are lots of really good restaurants near the condo. Try Rum Point, Kaibo Yacht Club, Hyatt Restaurant, Red Ginger, Portofino's, David's at Morritt's, Vivine's Kitchen, The Lighthouse, or The Edge.
You won't have to miss game day with the Driftwood Sports & Beach Bar a minutes walk down the beach.
Some of the best diving on Grand Cayman Island is right here on the North Side with Red Sail Sports and Ocean Frontiers only minutes away. The wall dives are excellent along the Northshore. Try deep sea or bottom fishing with Island Girl Charters, Just FishN, Capt. Bryans, or Bayside Watersports. Jet Ski rentals, boat rentals, water-skiing, parasailing, bike rentals, and sailboat rentals & charters are available just minutes from the condo.
Live Island Music is always popular on the beautiful Rum Point beaches. Or, grab a beach hammock and just relax with a good book or a cool drink. Take a leisurely walk through the Botanical Gardens about 10 minutes from the condo. You can take a visit to the Turtle Farm and return your own baby turtle back to sea. Take a scenic tour on Frank Sound Road and visit the Blow Holes that nature has carved from the shoreline.
Enjoy a quick trip on the ferry from Rum Point to the 7-Mile Beach. Go into Georgetown where there is lots of expensive and inexpensive shopping to suit your budget. Go underwater in the glass submarines at Atlantis Adventures and The Nautilus. And certainly don't forget the diving, some of the best in the Caribbean.
There are two golf courses on Grand Cayman Island. An excellent 18 hole at The Links At Safehaven, and a 9 hole at Sunrise Golf Center.
There is a small store five minutes from the condo. There are also four large supermarkets (Fosters on 7 Mile, Fosters at the airport, Kirks, and Hurleys). They all have anything you will need.
Car Rentals are available and will pick you up at the airport. They will drive your party to the condo where your rental car will be waiting. Or, the car can be brought to the airport for your arrival. Rates are $275-$300 per week for a modern 4 door, automatic, with air conditioning.
DIRECTIONS
Paradise Found is about 35 minutes from airport. The condo is on the Northside of Grand Cayman Island located in the Rum Point area.
North Pointe Condominiums are ocean side of the road about one mile from the Hyatt Rum Point.
