Description of the Property - Vacation Apartment Postira

Postira is a small dreamy place, situated directly by the sea on the island of Brac. Enjoy the calmness of a small village with all Mediterranean impressions that offer themselves throughout the day and night.

The RANKA house is located at the end of a small village street from where it will take you just a couple of minutes to reach the beach, which is also suitable for children. In the old centre, within an old nicely equipped house and a beautiful courtyard terrace you can really relax.

In the lower floor the accommodation facility RANKA disposes of:

- comfortable living room with partly sea view, satellite TV, daybed for 1 person
- completely fitted kitchen, with table and chairs - WC for guests with washing machine
- spiral staircases bring you to the first floor (a fence on the door is mounted for children protection)
- 1 bedroom with double bed, single bed and balcony with a sea view
- 1 bedroom with double bed and a small terrace (a bed for children is also available)
- Bathroom with bathtub and WC

On the big house terrace you can comfortably wind up the evening. Barbecue is at your disposal as well.
The landlord family lives next door and is very hospitable. The guests they have had so far report with delightfulness about enjoying comfortable barbecue evenings and excursions with an own fisherman boat. The children of the landlord family are 7, 13 and 20 years old. So far very good friendships were established with the children of the guests.

The family of Dietmar H., coming from the Munich area, visits the Ranka house for the 4th time already and describes their vacation destination in the following way (subsequent text is published upon approval):

" ..With the Ranka house we have an ideal, very family-friendly and children-friendly spot at the end of the old town. All facilities can also be reached on foot including the two most popular beaches.
We felt very well in this calmly environment and cherish the spacious comfort of this house both from the inside and the outside. The endearing landlord family entered our hearts; we are looking forward to seeing them again... "

From April until October one can have terrific rest on the island. Due to the convenient climate the almond trees bloom already in February and hiking tours starting from April through the just awakened nature are definitely something special with all the herbs and aromas. In the summer months the blue, crystal clear water invites you for swimming, snorkelling, diving (diving school in Supetar), tennis, boat excursions or simply laying under the Mediterranean stone pine and relaxing.

Excursions across the island, for example to Vidova gora, the island 's highest mountain, provide a view at the still intact, original way of living of the islanders. Many churches and monuments give one the possibility to imagine the age of this civilization on this 'immensely wealthy' island.

Arrivals and departures are from Friday until Sunday. Exceptions are possible upon arrangement.

Visitor 's tax is to be paid extra. Children up to 12 years are not charged with the visitor 's tax, and children up to 18 years are charged with only 50% of the visitor ' tax.
