Description of the Property - Vacation Home Postira

Lovcrecina swimming bay is situated after Postira on the island of Brac. On the edge of this very smooth bay, far away from crowds and swimmers, is the site where the romantic house FRANE is located.

At least for once enjoy your vacation in an older manner, since electricity is coming via solar energy. However a gas powered refrigerator and water pump make sure you don 't yearn for anything.

However there is no 220 V voltage, hence there is no possibility to use hair dryer, coffee machine or other appliances which require more than 300 W. The light for the bulbs comes from solar energy. At the landlord family residence you can recharge the batteries over the night (e.g. for a mobile phone or a digital camera) and take them on the next morning.

On the ground floor you will find one big lounge equipped with a table and sitting furniture as well as a fireplace. Furthermore, a WC and a wash basin as well as a brand new kitchen (gas powered refrigerator, electricity from solar energy and water pump) are also included. Kitchen and bathroom dispose of separate entrance.

Meanwhile there is a shower in the bathroom with hot water supplied via solar energy. Since hot water availability depends on solar energy, the best time to take a shower is in the evening.

You can reach the upper floor by stairs, where you can find four low beds. The walls are partly inclined and through a small window you have a direct view of the sea and the mainland.

You can spend romantic evenings on the beautiful terrace equipped with a full-size grill. On the terrace there is a wooden table and wooden benches. Canvas chairs or cots are not available, hence if needed bring appropriate hinged cots with you.

The path to the sea leads through a melon field. You can sunbath on the bevel rocks, dive in the gorgeous sea or, if you take the children with you, go to the swimming bay Lovrecina which can be reached in just 10 minutes walking distance.

The small but asphalted access route (asphalted almost up to the house - not appropriate for lower vehicles and/or low spoilers) is foreseen only for the small number of houses in this area.

The guests in the FRANE house can enjoy isolation and primal nature around the house.

Prices are given per night. For dogs additional charge of 5,00 € per night is applied

Arrivals and departures are from Friday until Sunday. Exceptions are possible upon arrangement.

ATTENTION: This house can be booked also for the period of October and November since there is a fireplace inside that can warm the living space and the bedroom situated in the upper floor cuddly. The landlord would be happy to help you cope with the fireplace.
If there is no sufficient sun in these months in order to warm the water enough for shower via solar energy, you can then of course use the shower room in the main house in Postira in one of the vacation rentals (please arrange the time with the landlord).
