Description of the Property - Vacation Apartment Canet Plage
This seaside resort is one of the jewels of the Catalan coast. Its modern constructions of daring architectural design which harmonise with the beach. And its immense sea front boulevard and busy yachting harbour along with the quality of its sports facilities. Canet Plage is the favourite seaside resort of inhabitants from Perpignan and symbolises modernism and entertainment under the sun.
For outdoor activities Canet Plage boasts beach clubs, an Olympic swimming pool, tennis courts, a riding centre, cycle tracks... the quality of the infrastructures where high level sporting events take place all year round. Visit the aquarium with its 300 species from the Sea world from 5 continents. Nightlife thanks to the many restaurants and the Europa hill (group of discos and bars...), cinema, casino. The Place de la Mediterranee at the heart of the town faces the sea, from which spread lively pedestrian streets with shops that stay open until very late. At nightfall, the street vendors set up their stalls on the sea front boulevard, a pleasure for all who stroll past.
We recommend a visit to the nearby shallow lake of Canet-St Nazaire, with its original fisher huts. This is a protected nature area with exceptional fauna (pink flamingos) and flora (bulrushes, reeds...). There is a track to discover the site. There are various golf courses in the area e.g. at St. Cyprien (5 km). Airport 17km. Train: 13 km.
The brand new luxurious apartments are situated directly on the beach and the boulevard of Canet-Plage. All units offer a large living/dining room with TV, radio/CD/DVD player, a foldable bed/couch, air-conditioning, a fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher and oven, a deluxe bathroom and a terrace with view on the beach/sea. A parking place is provided in the cellar.
