Description of the Property - Castle Tarabel
Tarabel is an impressive property, built from Toulouse stone in 1810. It is flanked by two towers and a dovecote and is surrounded by a hectare of grounds and three hectares of fields with distant views of the Pyrenees. It has been restored in keeping with its original style.
A terrace spans the south side of the house, which is shaded by splendid old trees overlooking the enclosed swimming pool. The surrounding countryside is called 'Little Tuscany' due to its rolling hills. Visit Castelnaudary, hire a boat on Canal du Midi, or visit the opera at Toulouse.
