Description of the Property - Gite-Holiday House Claddaghduff

This is a very attractive stone-faced cottage with pleasant garden overlooking Courhoor Lake.
It is situated halfway between the villages of Claddaghduff and Cleggan in hilly countryside.
The wild scenery is typical of Connemara and the location is bordered by the Atlantic coast on two sides.The island of Omey, with many safe sandy beaches is accessible at low tide and the island of Inishbofin can be reached by ferry from Cleggan.
Claddaghduff has several beautiful beaches within walking distance,There is a supermarket, pub and post office 10 minutes walk.
Cleggan village also has pubs,shop,restaurant,horse riding and the ferry to Inishbofin for a pleasant day trip. Clifden 10km is a small town with good restaurants and many shops.
The cottage has 4 bedrooms,living room, kitchen with a large dinning room, utility room and tiled bathroom with electric shower.

I have a family of 4 and we found most relaxing. The lake is at the front gate. Very peaceful. The house has all the mod cons and we will be back.
