Description of the Property - Vacation Home Sao Jorge

Located in Farrobo which lies in the county of São Jorge on the north coast of Madeira island, in a peaceful and solitary area with a pleasant climate all year round, this property has a panoramic view of the sea and mountains. It is inserted in an organic wine plantation, short distance from some of the most beautiful walks along the north coast of Madeira and at the edge of the 'Laurissilva' a protected forest region. It is 3 km to the beach Praia do Calhau with modern bathing facilities, and 2 km to shops, coffee shops and restaurant. Property offers two independent and very private houses with a communal area separating them. The area between the two houses is occupied by a large swimming pool, extensive solarium terrace and a BBQ, to be shared between the guests.

The Large House was renovated and furnished in contemporary style still respecting the feeling of rural and quiet environment. Equipped with central heating, the house is composed by 4 bedrooms (2 doubles and 2 twins), each with en suite bathroom, telephone and satellite TV, large lounge with open fireplace, satellite TV and games table and direct access to the terrace and swimming pool area, guest WC, modern fully equipped kitchen, pantry seating more than 12 persons, and laundry.

Outside, guests share an extensive area with panoramic views over the mountains and the ocean below, with a large swimming pool (May to October), wide sun terrace with pool furniture and BBQ.
