Description of the Property - Vacation Apartment Zambrone

This new bungalow style property is situated on a hill overlooking the azure blue waters of the Tyrrhenian Sea, the Aeolian Islands, Stromboli and the medieval town of Tropea.
Zambrone Beach, the longest and cleanest beach in the region is just below the property approx. 1.5 km. A second beach Capa Cozza, more secluded, can be reached via Zambrone station cafe.
Many places and attractions in Calabria are less than 1.5 hours drive in any direction. Boats daily to the Aeolian Islands. Golfing, sailing. There is a shared outdoor pool (with 5 other properties)open from Spring through late Summer and located a stroll from your residence.

Large garden (a work in progress) with young fruit trees and flowering plants.

INTERNET ACCESS

The apartment is very spacious, with well-fitted living/dining room and kitchen, laundry room with washing machine. Fully equipped for self-catering. All cooking utensils are provided. A very peacful and private oasis in it's own private garden. Ample parking inside and outside the grounds. Security system gate with entry phone. Relax and watch the sunset over the Aeolian islands from the beautiful and large terrace.

Facilities at Zambrone include paddle boat rentals, children's playground, restaurant/bars.
Just a 10 minute drive to Tropea, 20 minutes to Pizzo. The old town of Zambrone has many conveniences, including bank, post office, grocery stores, hardware, etc. Another large supermarket on the main highway at Zambrone Marina, complete with delicatessen and full stock wines and liquors.

HOW TO GET THERE:
Direct flights to Lamezia are available from London, Bristol and other airports via Bravofly (Air-one, or Blu-Express) EasyJet and Alitalia.

Bravolfly (Air-one, or Blu-express), Jet2 also fly via Rome or Milan.

Ryanair has UK flights to Rome, Pisa or Milan (and other European airports) with connecting flights to Lamezia Terme Airport (SUF) which are inexpensive through Bravofly and others..

Ryanair regularly lists scheduled flights from London Stansted direct to Lamezia Terme (SUF) early in the year, for March through October 2011.

Germany: Fights from Dusseldorf by Ryanair. Also direct flights from Berlin.

Alternatively, take the train from Rome and enjoy the magnificent scenery along the Amalfi coast to your destination. Rail travel in Italy is low cost and reliable.
Rail routes also travel the coast of Calabria to all destinations, north, south, east and west.
Trains from Rome/Milan to Zambrone and Tropea.

Airport transfers: Lamezia Terme, Bus (approx. Euro 0.70) from airport to train Service.

DRIVING DIRECTIONS (from airport and places north): A3 South, Exit at Pizzo and following the coastal road SS522 to your destination.

Car hire with AutoEurope (on-line bookings are usually cheaper) Hertz, and others at Lamezia Terme - across the street from the airport terminal.

N.B.: Local car hire is available locally through our agent in Calabria .

LOCATION:
By car, the property is 40 minutes drive from Lamezia Terme Airport. Between Pizzo (north) and Tropea (to the south). Take Hwy A3 south to Pizzo, Take Hwy SS522 to Zambrone.

All inclusive rental rates/week. We offer discounts for earlylate bookings and discounts for long stays.
Additional fee only: Final Cleaning: Euro 50 per stay, payable at time of booking.
A Refundable Security deposit (payable on arrive to our Agent) Euro 100 - refunded on departure, after inspection of apartment.

RESERVATIONS/PAYMENTS:
A 30% deposit is required at time of reservation.
Balance of rental is due 30 days before your arrival.
