Description of the Property - Vacation Home Montombraro

The recently restored stone structure is in a small 16th century hamlet in the mountains of Emilia Romangna between Bologna and Modena. There are views of the valley and rolling hills from this peaceful hillside location next to a wooded area. This is an ideal location for relaxing, walking in the woods, and visiting towns and cities in the area. Bologna and Modena are both about 45 kms away.
TORRE is a stone tower with three-bedrooms. It is on five levels. Built into the hillside, there are two ground floors. On the lower level there is a small, fully equipped kitchen with a door to a small patio area. Stairs lead up to a living/dining room with a fireplace and a door to the garden area with a table and chairs for dining al fresco. Steep stone steps lead up to the bedrooms. All three bedrooms have bathrooms with showers. The first and second floor bedrooms have queen beds (two twins made together). The third floor bedroom has a queen bed.
The main village of Montombraro, with its shops, swimming pool and tennis courts is at a walking distance.
Emilia Romagna is well known for its good food and wine production, and in the immediate surroundings there are several restaurants that serve delicious food and wine. Florence, Ravenna and Parma are only 74 miles (120km) far away, therefore 1 day visits are possible.
Every week we offer COOKERY COURSES for adults and children, whose themes are:
-Pasta and sauces made in emilia : tagliatelle, tortelloni, lasagne, ragù alla bolognese.
-Breads and focaccia
- Pizza
-Bolognese menu
-Spaghetti and company
The cookery courses are designed for enthusiastic amateurs, gourmets and anyone who appreciates food, wine and cooking. The participants will be executing the dishes and will taste them at the end of the course together in a friendly and familiar atmosphere.
