Wonderful penthouse with panoramic view, on the sixth floor of a 1874 building (with lift from first to fifth floor) : from the two windows of the large living room you can see the majestic Piazza Vittorio Emanuele II, with its arcade and its garden park with Roman ruins .
The sunny, bright and spacious apartment, has been completely renovated, redecorated and equipped with all the modern comforts: air conditioning, satellite TV, DVD, washing machine, dishwasher, iron with ironing board, microwave. It has a chestnut crossbeam ceiling and a wooden floor, that make the flat original and charming. The furniture, that matches modern style pieces with some fine antiques, is very elegant and comfortable. The apartment can fit up to 5 people and consist of an entrance, a spacious corridor with a splendid Chinese art deco wardrobe, a large living room with three comfortable sofa bed and a dining area for six, a cosy bedroom with a queen size bed, a fully equipped kitchen with breakfast area for four, a bath with shower and a useful wide storage room where you can put your suitcases and travelling bags .

The apartment is situated in one of the most spacious squares of Rome, Piazza Vittorio Emanuele II, dedicated to the first King of Italy at the end of XIX century. Majestic building with arcades with 280 columns surround a wonderful park with big palms, citrons of Lebanon, platani, magnolie, and Roman ruins of a monumental fountain (III century a.C.)
Located in one of the most well connected areas in the city center, only a short walk from Colosseo, Domus Aurea (Nerone Emperor House), Roman Forum, Basilicas of San Giovanni in Laterano, Santa Croce in Gerusalemme and Santa Maria Maggiore. With the metro practically right next to the apartment, you will arrive easily to the St. Peter Basilica and the Vatican Museums and all the wonderful sites you can find in Rome. The Central Railway Station "Termini", from which the shuttle train to the airport departs, is a short distance away, only some minutes by foot, so you don't need to rush. In this area there are many shops and supermarkets, bakeries, restaurants, cafes, chemists', dry-cleaners, public garage, theatres (Teatro dell'Opera, Brancaccio, Ambra Jovinelli), cinema, green parks (Parco del Colle Oppio, Giardini di Piazza Vittorio, Villa Celimontana).
