Olbia’s Airport and ferries landings are at 12 km distance. The independent unit is at 800 m. from the water on a hill overlooking the sea with a stunning view of Tavolara Island and Porto San Paolo’s bay. One of the most astonishing views in Sardinia! It is a part of a stone and stucco row-house group (4 units), in the typical Island’s architectural style and Mediterranean colors. A precious well maintained little garden surrounds the house. You can relax there with a book after spending a day at the beach. You will feel very private and peaceful in it. A covered parking space creates one of the edges and very nice neighbors are on the other side. An outside grill offers you the option of preparing your own fish or meat specialties directly on the veranda in front of the house. In Porto San Paolo you will find 3 markets and many shops and restaurants. On Tuesday and Thursday a local temporary market will delight you with typical products and local fruits and vegetables.


We are minutes away from many beautiful sandy beaches. Porto San Paolo has a little beach very quiet and perfect for a jump in the water on your very first day. Porto Taverna (south) and Costa Corallina (north) are only 5 minutes away. Brandinchi Beach (also called Tahiti for the transparency of the water and the whiteness of the sand) is also only a step away. Sassi Piatti can be reached by boat from Porto Taverna. Boat rentals are available in Porto San Paolo and in Porto Taverna. From Porto San Paolo you can take a small ferry to Tavolara Island (in high season runs hourly). In July you can enjoy a great film festival on the Island. If you like hiking or climbing, Tavolara height is also a great escape. Costa Smeralda is worthy a day trip. This is a world renowned vacation area. Famous jet set celebrities are frequently spotted in local restaurants and bars. You can also view incredible yachts in Porto Cervo harbor.
Also within one to two hours you can visit a large number of picturesque places. To the north: Maddalena archipelago includes Caprera, the island where Garibaldi spend good part of his life and Spargi and Budelli, two lovely islands (on Budelli is the well known Spiaggia Rosa) All these localities can be reached by boat leaving from Palau on hourly base. To the south: Cala Luna, Bosa. Just to name some. Sardinia is a magnificent island. If you come to discover it, it will enchant you.
