It is near to the port where you can find good fresh fish and to go on boat excursions in order to visit the coast ( Scopello "“ Riserva dello zingaro "“ San Vito lo Capo). Besides the seaside you can enjoy the real serenity of the countryside having dinner in the open air and enjoying the wonderful view of the full of Castellammare and the mountain at the back. Such a panorama is the ideal one both for families and groups of friends. The villa is in the ideal location to arrive at some tourist places of significant interest both from a naturalistic and cultural point of view (Segesta, Erice, Monreale, Selinunte etc). The villa is the ideal one fos a holiday relaxing, quiet, amusing and cultural at the same time.
You can visit: Segesta whit its temple and amphitheatre where, during summertime, a lot of theatrical performances take place. There are a lot of places deserving a visit such as: Palermo, Monreale, Scopello whit its stacks, tummy-fishing nets and coastline; besides the natural reserve of Zingaro, the islans Egadi, Trapani, Marsala, Selinunte. It is worth the effort of a visit Mazara del Vallo for the statua of the "Dancing Satir". You can arrive in a short time at Agrigent, Sciaca nearly. When you visit Alcamo you can enjoy a visit to the thermal water of sulphur water nearly Alcamo and Castellammare. When you are at Alcamo you can taste the famous wine "ALCAMO DOC", our culinary specialities and our sweets. The large white beach of S.Vito lo Capo can be visited by boating trips that leave at fixed timetables Castellammare and sail along the coast around the natural reserve of "Lo Zingaro". There are also hydrofoils that leave Castellammare for the islands of Ustica and Favignana.
If you arrive at Palermo by air or by ship it's enough to join the motorway Palermo "“ Trapani (H 29) and after about 30 minutes, to leave the motorway at the way out for Castellammare del Golfo. After only 3 minutes you are already inside the little town. You can rent a car at the airport or at Castellammare or, if you like, you can only ask about the transfer from the airport to Castellammare (if it's possible we can take care of everything).
