Piano Terreno This apartment has traditional beamed ceiling and terracotta floors, Ground floor: sitting/dining room, kitchen corner, double sofa bed, doublebed room, shower/wc. Cot and high chair on request.
Situed on a hill, still surrounded by the city wall, stands old Certaldo, a medieval town, which was built entirely with red bricks and has preserved its fascinating integrity. Ideal for a vacation in a relaxing surrounding, rich of history and culture in the hearth of Tuscany. It it is known worldwide especially as the hometown of Giovanni Boccaccio, who lived and died on 1375 in his house at Via Boccaccio. From Certaldo it is possible to reach in short time the most important towns and villages.
In Certaldo Alto there are four restaurants, one pizzeria, two bar, a grocery store, handicraft, souvenirs and wines stores. In the modern town center (walking distance or by funicolar) you will find supermarkets, banks, bar, restaurants, Pharmacy, Food shops,Market day: Wednesday.
