La Fucinaia is situated 138m above sea level, between San Vincenzo and Campiglia M.ma. a stone’s throw away from the Isle of Elba and the Etruscan Coast with its sandy beaches. It is situated in a quiet area in the lovely Tuscany hills, in the middle of the Natural Park of San Silvestro, surrounded by evergreen bushes and hundred years old silver shiny olive trees.

Suite for small groups
We run a cosy, familiar pension. The house was built in the 19th century and fully renovated between 2004 and 2005. The rooms with toilet /shower are comfortably equipped and tastefully decorated. Some rooms can be extended by means of connecting doors. Apartments can be rented (4-8 peoples). Price on request.

The whole house
The complete house has rooms with 2, 3 as 4 beds for 10-18 peoples as a well a professional kitchen with the living room in the outhouse.

Private parking
The parking lot for 15 cars is located directly behind the house.

Activities
Centrally located: ideal place for historical, cultural and culinary trips. Swimming, sunbathing, sailing, diving, tennis, golf, horse riding, biking and hiking can be done in the neighbourhood. Spa sessions, thermal baths, massages, etc. can be enjoyed nearby.

The detached house LA FUCINAIA is ideal for seminars, workshops and free time employment of any kind. But it may not always be active. Also the “dolce far niente” can enjoy perfectly.

Shopping
Shops, supermarkets (Coop, Conad, Punto SMA, etc.), weekly markets, laundry self-services and Internet points are located in the village.

Distances
10 min. to the beach (6km), Campiglia (3km), Venturina Calidario Therme (5 km), San Vincenzo (4 km), 30 min. to Piombino (ferry to Elba 20 km), one-day trips are possible to Rome, Livorno, Siena, San Gimignano, Volterra, Pisa, Lucca, Florence, etc.

Wining and dining
In the neighbourhood there are plenty of restaurants offering fish specialities and typical Tuscany dishes and a variety of fine wines.
