in the flourishing country of the Cosona, to little kilometres from Pienza, San Quirico and Montalcino, in one of the more beautiful agricultural regions of Tuscany, it is, after 1926 the Podere Poggio Salto, today Agrituristica firm of property of the La Spisa family.
The building is risen on a knoll ( the knoll 'Salto' ), that looks onto the typical Tuscan country, sort of undulant and delicate hills with their extraordinary iridescent colours in season in season.

In the mid of the beautiful Tuscan country near Pienza,San Quirico and Montalcino, you can find the Poggio Salto Farm, since 1926 property of the La Spisas family.During summer our guests have a 4.30 by 9 metre swimming pool where they can spend sunny days cooling off and relaxing on the lawn, maybe reading a book in almost perfect silence, hearing only the splash of water in the pool when someone enters for a swim on hot days. Our guests also have at their disposal a summer house, sun shades, sun beds and deck chairs. The pool is an ideal solution and is situated in a panoramic position, near to the house but at the same time secluded so as to guarantee privacy.The farm house has five apartments which can accommodate from two to six people, furnished in the typical Tuscan manner; all have ceilings with beams and floors with Tuscan terracotta tiles. One apartment is suitable for disabled people.
The five double or three bedded rooms are all spacious and overlook the surrounding countryside. Each bedroom has its own bathroom with shower and toilet facilities. Il Biancospino (50 mq)
This apartment is on the ground floor with one three bedded room, one bathroom with shower, a kitchen and living room. Just outside there is a small garden with table and chairs. The view is of the fields and there is a road leading to the main building.
La Ginestra (50 mq)
This delightful little apartment is on the ground floor and has one double room, a bathroom with shower, a kitchen with wide windows overlooking fields of oats.
Il Girasole (80 mq)
This apartment is on the first floor and is reached by outside steps. It has a terrace from where you can admire views of Pienza, Mount Amiata, San Quirico d'Orcia, the neighbouring farms and the rolling hills. It has two bedrooms, two bathrooms with shower and a kitchen.
La Spiga (60 mq)
This nice bright apartment is on the ground floor and is suitable for disabled people. There are two bedrooms, two bathrooms with shower and a kitchen, all overlooking green fields.
Il Cipresso (50 mq)
This is a meeting place for all our guests on the ground floor. It has a living room, a bathroom and a kitchen off the lounge, outside there is a large garden where you can spend your free time relaxing, playing table tennis, reading in the summer house or cooling off in the swimming pool. Your children too will enjoy it here. It is also suitable for disabled people. We suggest this place for large groups.
