Description of the Property - Vacation Apartment Sovicille (Siena)

The little mediaeval village of Simignano lies in the hilly area ?Montagnola Senese? at the southeast of Siena. Its origins go back to the 10th century. Fields, ilex groves and chestnut woods surround it.
At the village a local pig race (?Cinta Senese?) threatened by extinction is bred in natural state. Moreover sheep and small animals are kept.
The old farmhouse is situated just at the border of SIMIGNANO in a great meadow with a little wood where you?ll find tables, chairs and hammocks and a barbecue.
Inside the house, which has been restored taking care to leave the original structure and look, there are 5 apartments for the guest?s use. They are comfortable and the rooms are furnished with antique articles.
