Merill apartments are situated within a small block spread on 3 floors conveniently served with an elevator and also having a common pool side area at the back.

These well maintained apartments are situated in one of the most tranquil areas of Mellieha known as Santa Maria Estate, surrounding by residential villas.

They are Located about 15 minutes walking distance from the Upper Main Street for bus stops, shops, mini/super market, catering outlets etc.

Most of these 1 & 2 bedroomed apartments enjoy beautiful views from the front balcony or pool views at the rear.

They also have a balcony / terrace, each with its own garden furniture so one can relax and enjoy outside meals.

The Apartments have double bedrooms & twin rooms with shower cubicle, bath and WC. The 2-bedroomed apts also have a spare toilet. The Kitchen area is combined with the living and dining area.

Fans, TV, safe deposit box, iron & board, cooker, four ring stove, oven and grill, fridge-freezer, toaster, kettle are provided. The apartments are spacious enough to sleep up to 3 and up to 5 persons.

The pool measures 8 meters x 4 meters with surrounding bathing area.

Mellieha, which sits on top of a hill, overlooks the northern 'tail end' of Malta. It is also surrounded by fertile valleys and most spots provide good panoramas of the countryside, Mellieha Bay (boasting the longest beach in Malta) and further north Comino and Gozo. The town is popular with Maltese and visitors alike. One can also find some good restaurants, entertainment and full shopping facilities. The village 'festa' is celebrated on 8th September.

We have stayed for two weeks at this apartment in September 2008. The owner was very friedly and helpful. The organization and communication was fantastic. Thanks !! Pick up from the airport, car rental was all perfect organized.
Regardig the accommodation: It was clean and big enough to stay there with three people (Two seperte bedroms, one with an additional toilet). Also the pool area was nice to get a cooling after a warm day.
The area was beautiful and quite enough to get relaxed. Even if you wanted to have a party you had to go into the town with itÂ´s several bars. The beach at Melieh was sandy, clean and not over crowded. Think that depends on the reason.
All required shops can be found in the area nearby, bakery, butcher, fish shop, patistery, supermarket.
Generlly al the prices were fair, also within the restaurants which were not bad. A car is definitively needed all the time.

Following improvemts could be made: We arrived in the late evening and were tired and thirsty but there was no water available at the apartment. A plan of the near area would be helpful when you arrive.

Sure to come back in some years.
