Property description
The property is a typical Portuguese residence built in the 1850s. It
comprises of two double bedrooms - one with a double bed and the other
with two single beds -, a sitting-room, a fully-equipped kitchen that
sits 4 and a bathroom with shower.
The sitting-room offers you all the equipment for your rest and
amusement. From its balcony you can enjoy the beautiful mountain landscape.
There's also a terrace with chairs and table, sun beds and private
little pool to keep cool in the summer. The sun bathes the terrace from
morning till late afternoon and the views are magnificent.
The Costa de Prata (Silver Coast region)
The weather is great most of the year. The temperature in the months of
April, May, October and November are in the lower 20 C and in the summer
months from June until September it's in the upper 20 C reaching to mid
30 C.
The countryside and the beautiful Luso village - renowned by its mineral
waters and public baths - make this the perfect destination for a
peaceful and relaxing holiday without having to make do without everyday
conveniences.
Coast/beach:
Just a 35 minutes drive away you'll find Mira and Tocha Beach, Aveiro is
about a 40 minute drive and Coimbra just 25 minutes. There's a golf
course just 10 minutes away by car.
Serra do Buçaco/Luso area
If you're conservationist and a trekking lover you will very much enjoy
the luxuriant Serra do Buçaco with its beautiful flora and fauna (there
are over 80 species of birds) and local history.
But this isn't all Luso has to offer. There are many picturesque
villages with many vineyards, fine churches, squares, gardens and lakes.
There are also golf courses, tennis courts, museums, the Buçaco Palace
and obviously some of the greatest Portuguese cuisine in the country
served in its many traditional restaurants (be sure to try Leitão à
Bairrada). As if good food wasn't enough the Bairrada area is also one
of the best wine and champagne regions.
