In the heart of Madeira's Santo da Serra region, with its towering green mountains and spectacular views, this magnificent garden cottage set in the grounds of a main manour house, full of light, space and character, lies in an idyllic setting at the end of a private driveway amongst the trees of its extensive garden. A converted dairy offering a cosy alternative to the main house with the same facilities available to both, including the pool and the croquet lawn. Enjoy a peaceful retreat in an authentic rural atmosphere. Situated 5 minutes from the local golf 27 hole course and 15 minutes from the sea, surrounded by mountains, the cottage provides a fantastic starting point for many local activities like walking and horse riding as well as a central location to set out and explore the island.

Being within 1 km of the village of Santo da Serra, 2 minutes from the golf course, and only 15 minutes from the airport, the cottage offers you peace and seclusion without the inconvenience of being remote or inaccessible.




It comprises 1 twin and 2 double rooms (one of which is accessible from the outdoors) and two bathrooms one with bath the other with a shower unit. The open space living and dining area with its fireplace is a cosy family centre off which lies a fully equipped kitchen. Central heating is available during the winter months, there is free wireless internet access and a direct metered telephone allows guests to make and receive telephone calls.

The swimming pool next to the main house is available (from May to October) as are the BBQ and croquet facilities.

A twice weekly cleaning service is provided.
Children under 3 years of age stay free of charge (1 child per party).
