Description of the Property - Vacation Home MIRAMAR-VILA NOVA DE GAIA

The 200m2 marble patio is all around the house. There is a large terrace on the roof of the private garage as well. Next to the garage there is the laundry corner with washing machine. The professional outside barbecue, offers as well a wood oven for traditional cooking.
You can enjoy full privacy in the sunny garden placed south of the house, with access from the large lounge window-doors. The wall in front of the house will block the street view.
The comfortable leaving room-diner is facing the south garden, with large window doors, and has a fire place. There are 2 spacious bedrooms with double beds and large built in wardrobes, as well as 2 complete bathrooms. The attic has being renovated and offers a mega lounge. It could be used as extra sleeping room with a comfortable twin sofa bed. The kitchen is fully equipped with cooking utensils, also has all household electric devices including the dishwasher.

This cozy beach house is just 50 meters from the sea. Also at walking distance to the lovely train station, and the Miramar shopping center is on the corner.
Miramar is a chic beach front district between Porto 10km and Espinho 5km. It belongs to the municipality of Vila Nova de Gaia where the famous Port Wine cellars are located. Today it is a district of grand Porto. In the past rich wine merchants from the Douro Valley built their opulent beach residences in Miramar. Today, Miramar is very well maintained and low built, upscale suburb with interesting attractions. Peaceful during the week the Miramar promenade can be crowded with the locals on weekends. Without doubt the top attraction is the most photogenic chapel of Portugal. Hundred of pictures can be seen if you type "Senhor da Pedra" on search engines. To honor this historical chapel on the rocks the actual mayor developed modern gardens with high tech fountains restaurants cafes, esplanades, beach promenade and 15 km of jogging tracks along the gold sandy beach made of old train sleepers. In Miramar the locals enjoy activities like biking, golf, tennis, fishing sunset photography, surfing, jogging, collecting shells and architectural sightseeing. Only one large apartment blue tower was built. It is located a few meters behind the house and it also offers the only shopping center of Miramar. The meeting point on the cafes terraces all year round. The pretty train station is at 200 meters or 7 minutes walk with trains departing to Porto, taking 20 minutes journey or Espinho the casino and surfer's city just 5 km away. Just 1,50 Euros per trip.
This is the perfect combination of beach holidays with city trips.
From Porto central historical station, you can take trains to the interior and visit great monument cities.
From Miramar, the train will take you to the south coast cities.
