help yourself Urlaub

„help yourself Urlaub“: Die Finca war schwierig zu finden. Es fehlt ein simples Schild, welches die Gäste darauf hinweisen könnte, dass ein als Baustelle gekennzeichneter Kiesweg zu überqueren ist, um wieder auf die Strasse Richtung Finca zu gelangen. In unmittelbarer Nähe wird übrigens eine Autobahn gebaut. Demnächst ist also mit massiver Lärmbelästigung zu rechnen.

Wenn man Hilfe braucht, muss man den (einigermaßen unprofessionellen) Verwalter in Deutschland kontaktieren. Persönliche Betreuung vor Ort gibt es bis auf einen vollkommenen überlasteten Hausmeister, der außerdem selten anzutreffen ist, nicht.

In zwei Woche Aufenthalt haben wir uns (zwei Erwachsene und zwei kleine Kinder!) nur mit lauwarmem Wasser geduscht. Der Strom ist zu schwach, was dazu führt, dass die Zimmerbeleuchtung ständig flackert. Zudem gibt es immer wieder Stromausfälle von bis zu einer halben Stunde, was uns etwa am Abend des 31. 12. beim Kochen passiert. Professionelle Hilfe dagegen gibt es nicht. Das Wasser des Wellnessbereichs war eiskalt, so dass es unmöglich war, den Schwimmbereich zu verwenden. Die Reinigung im ganzen Areal beschränkt sich auf einen Besuch alle 8 Tage. Das scheint auch für den Wellnessbereich zu gelten.

Die Lage ist im Übrigen wunderschön.

Insgesamt stimmt jedoch das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis bei weitem nicht überein.
