Description
The country house "Torre Blanca" is located in Cardona, in the region of Bages in the centre of Catalonia and 1 hour drive from Barcelona. It is located 1,5 km from the town centre. It is well located and at the same time very quiet and with splendid views of the Pyrenees.
With the aim of restoring, but not reforming, we have taken care of all the details. The house features authentic clay tile floors, 17th century style stone walls, with country style wooden rafters on the ceiling and al electric switches and sockets replicate the early days of electricity. To offer the customer authentic rustic charm, and create a unique quiet and homey atmosphere to enjoy the house to the full.

Indoor:
Upon entering the main living room you are greeted by a large hand crafted stone fire place. The homey living room boasts enough space to include: Computer with DSL high speed internet access, 28" colour TV with satellite connection and PS2, a gaming table, a corner for children witch includes tables and chairs sized for youngsters (also there are games and toys), and finally a quiet reading corner with a dramatic views of the country side and the Pyrenees.
The kitchen is complete with stone walls, marble sink, wood cabinets, etc. Giving it a rustic look however it also has ceramics, microwave, oven, dishwasher, washing machine, fridge and all crockery and silverware, being food the only think you need to bring.
There is a grand dinning room with a 5m. long table, is the ideal place to accommodate large groups or families. Also it can be use for small business meetings and presentations.
We offer the capability to accommodate 14 people maximum. The house has: 4 double bedrooms, 2 triple bedrooms. All bedrooms have bathrooms with Jacuzzi or jet shower, TV also. Bed linens and towels are provided for all guests.
Interesting Places
In Cardona you can visit Cardona's castle, one of the most beautiful castle in South of Europe. Salt mountain, salt mine "La minilla", the Romanesque St Vicenç's church, Sunday weekly flea market. Near Cardona (1h-1,5h drive) you can visit : Barcelona, Andorra, South of France, Mediterranean's beach, Montserrat's mountain, etc.
