Description of the Property - Vacation Home Sollerön

My nice cottage is called Little Red Riding Hood and is located at walking distance from Gesundaberget and Santaworld. The house holds one apartment out of four total. The apartment is located on the top floor of the building with an own entrance and a balcony on the rear side of the house. The cottage is located in great natural beauty surroundings with Siljan (the 7th biggest fresh water lake in Sweden) on one side and the mountin (Gesundaberget) on the other. Little Red Riding Hood cottage is a 2 floor building with a ceiling height of 4,5 m wich makes it very spaceous. The cottage is fully equipped and houses 8 people. Shower, sauna and a separate WC. It is walking distance to the village of Gesunda were there is a grocery store. The driving distance to Mora is about 15 kilometres.

The best thing about Gesunda is that there is always a lot of activities both summer and winter!
In the winter there are great possibilities for ice-skating and skiing on the lake Siljan. The Gesundabacken is suitable for all ages. There are bothe advanced and child-friendly slopes. There is also a small sledge-slope for the smalles ones. Near the slopes there's also nice skiing tracks. Gesunda also has a funpark.
There is equipment for rent for all kinds of different activities at Björns skidshop at the foot of the mountain. Gesundaberget has a cabin at the top where you can enjoy the beautiful view and have lunch or coffee. The mountin got a 3 star mark in Guide Michelin for it's beautiful view. At the foot of the mountain there is an inn with tasty food and is licenced to serve alcohole. Sitting in the sun facing the slope and eating lunch is a great experience! There is room for your own packed lunch, or why not use our barbeque near the childrens slope? The ski lift ques are most oftenly small since there are a lot of ski lifts. The first ski-lift is right next to my cabin. You just put your skis on and don't have to walk at all! If you want more information go to www.gesundaberget.se
In the summer there is a lot of activities near and around Siljan, like nice bathing places at Sollerö camping ground, summerland, Santaworld, Music around Siljan, Dalhalla, Grönklitt bear park. To rent a dog sleigh or ride a bike through wonderfully changing nature is a fantastic experience! It's also possible to order a packed lunch. At the mountain it's possible to hang glide with an instructor. You can also rent a bicycle from me. Gesunda has beautiful hiking trails and it is also possible to take guided tours if you want to.
Santaworld has activities both summer and winter. Santa is awake even in the summer, and the activities in Santaworld is very popular with different activities for the children all day!
