This apaartment is very spacious, has tall ceilings, and is interesting by itself as a way to understand Florence from the inside. Our visit [Dec 2009]included unusually cold weather for Florence, so the heating was slightly overcome, but a sweater solved that. It is a climb to the apartment, but there is a small elevator as well. Kitchen and laundry in the apartment are good and well supplied. Our contact provided us with good recommendations about the grocery store [just a few steps away] and local restaurants. Walking to the tourist locations is completely practical, most within 10-15 minutes, and we walked to the train station on departure since we knew the way after our week in Florence!
