The green, pure Sovara valley, with its nice walks and streams leading off in all directions, midway between the Arno and the Tiber Valleys at few minutes drive from historical places and towns rich in works of art, like the churches and the castles of Casentino or the Tuscan Valtiberina, where Piero della Francesca lived and painted
Here is situated our Agriturismo, a farmhouse dating back to the 18th century, recently restored with great care and supplied with all comforts, furnished in a simple, traditional way. A familiar, informal atmosphere where people who like company can share some good wine while sitting by the fireplace or spend their Summer nightshaving a good chat under a starry sky, like the Tuscan people of the past.

Our suggestions: the Castle of the Guidi Family in Poppi, a walk amongst scented broom flowers, the Town Art Gallery in Sansepolcro, the ancient chestnut trees shading Catenaia mountain paths, the places frequented by Saint Francis (Assisi, Montecasale Hermit, the Monastery of La Verna), the medieval village of Anghiari und Caprese, where Michelangelo was born, birdwatching along the shores of Montedoglio Lake
A short distance away, Città di Castello, Arezzo, Cortona and the Trasimeno Lake,
Gubbio, the Tiber springs, the National Park of Casentino Forests;
thanks to our central position, you can easily organize a one-day trip to Perugia, Firenze, the Chianti area, Siena, Montepulciano and Pienza, Urbino, San Marino and the Adriatic Riviera (Ravenna and Rimini). Our guesthouse is gay friendly.
