Listen to the ocean and the channel buoy at night while you sleep. Walk to two private beaches - one with a working lighthouse. Large wrap-around porch for relaxing or barbecue. Yard chimney for marshmallows and hanging out. Bicycle many treed streets, shop or dine in fishing villages, kayak from a private cove. Sunsets from the bluff. Lobster pot available for New England feast. Many premium channels, DVD/ video collection. Read in the windowed library on a comfie sofa or chair. Relax in the whirlpool tub. So many outdoor activities! Always plenty to do. Bicycling, kayaking, snorkeling. Relaxing walks alone, or with your dog, through awesome neighborhoods with great houses to look at. Take the challenge and climb Squam Rock and then stop by the exchange in town and get your 'I Climbed Squam Rock' T-shirt. Meet many others on your explorations and discuss new paths to discover. Walk to the village and check out what is going on. Swim at Diamond Cove - take the plunge from Divers Rock at high tide or walk to Lighthouse Beach and enjoy a swim or sun in a scenic cove. Fishing villages offer great shopping and dining. Two art colonies very close by. Dinner cruises and day excursions on schooners. A whale watch is always an awesome experience and all companies guarantee sightings! Don't forget Boston - a 45 min. drive or take the train in 55 minutes. Boston is a great city for walking and offers theatre, dining, shopping, and history galore.
Bop into Boston 50 minute train to downtown Boston. Very walkable city, lots of culture: museums, theatre Kids and adults have to see the Blue Man Group, restaurants. Take a duck tour of the city, a Swan Boat ride in the common. A Very walkable city, or if you get tired take a cab or our easy to use subway (the 'T'). North End for Little Italy, Downtown Crossing for Chinatown, Kenmore for Fenway Park, Back Bay for great shopping through out the mall complex connecting all the buildings and hotels in the area.
