Only 30kms (half an hour's drive) from the centre of Madrid, Spain. "La buena estrella"
is run by Chantal Obert de Thieusies, offering warm hospitality in friendly and relaxed surroundings. Chantal and her family speak French, Spanish and English.
We are just a few kilometres north of Madrid, this busy and thriving city of nearly 4 millions habitants. There is plenty to see, like the worldwide known museums, the Prado, the Bornemiza-Thyssen, the Reina Sofia.
Around Madrid and within one and two and a half hours drive you can visit several "world heritage cities", such as Avila, Salamanca with its famous University, Cathedral and Plaza Mayor; Segovia with an astonishing roman aqueduct. And very close to Madrid Alcala de Henares, birthplace of Cervantes with its University and its storks, nesting on top of the church towers like in many Spanish towns.
It is a large detached house over two floors, recently built in the northern Italy, south-east of France style recognisable with its French windows decorating the façade and surrounded by a 3600m2 garden with a swimming pool (10m x 5m) at your disposal. As we are just beside a natural reserve area, you can enjoy walking or jogging in typical Madrid woods.
There are 3 bedrooms and 1 child's single bedroom, each one with its private bathroom and toilet.
The accommodation comprises an elegant living room with open fireplace, library, dining-room and as we are in Spain, we have our outside living-room located in a outside porch.


PRICES (per person, breakfast and parking included):

- High season (may, june, july, august, september)= 40€
- Mid season (march, april, octuber)= 35€
- Low season (november, january, february)= 30€

- Other facilities: reception at the airport, laundry and dinner (18€, beverages included)
