The apartment has been completely rehabilitated and decorated by a team of architects and designers and is located in Lapa, a noble neighborhood of Lisbon.
In this decoration was given particular attention to all the details of design and comfort.
It is an apartment T2 with a doble bedroom and a single bedroom with two beds, a bathroom, a living room and dining with cable-TV and Hi-Fi. The room also has a sofa bed.
The apartment also includes a fully equipped kitchen with kitchen utensils, pots & pans, textiles and a washing machine and dryer.
The district of Lapa was constituted on February 11, 1770, by Cardinal Archbishop D. Francisco de Saldanha, from the new church of Lapa, possibly the first religious building built after the big earthquake of 1755 .
The name of Lapa has its origins in a rock called Lapa da Moura, that was located near the Pampulha, outside the current boundaries of the parish. This term has been extended to North and East, which was orally losing the enhancement 'of Moura.'
At the beginning of the eighteenth century, before Lapa started to be a part of the administrative boundaries of the city, three major roads crossed the place where, around them, were implanted the Convent of São Bento da Saúde (now the Palace of São Bento, headquarters of the Assembly of the Republic), the Convent of Nossa Senhora da Estrela (where since 1837 is installed the Military Hospital), and other buildings.
The Lapa also has one of the most beautiful gardens in Lisbon, the Garden Guerra Junqueiro, better known as the Jardim da Estrela.
In this district of Lisbon are concentrated most of the embassies of foreign countries in Portugal, namely Austria, Bulgaria, Canada, China, Finland, Indonesia, Ireland, Luxembourg, and Sovereign Military Order of Malta, Netherlands, United Kingdom, Romania , Sweden and Switzerland. It´s also located the Assembly of the Republic (Palace of São Bento) and the official residence of Prime Minister of Portugal
