On that note, Boomerang Village Resort is never crowded and is great for couples to relax and rediscover themselves. Our pool gently overlooks the kata town and the Andaman sea (80 meters above sea level) and our restaurant is a delicious culinary escape featuring Thai, Italian and international favorites.

Our rooms have been carefully and tastefully decorated in traditional Thai style and decor. Brilliant teak wood work, double beds and luxury amenities so nice, may never want to leave. We even have an intimate living room placed near to restaurant with a spectacular sea view, comfy sofa, books, TV, DVD’s, and music.

As the morning sun rises and kisses the precious blue waters of kata beach, we will be there to take you and arrange to pick you up in the afternoon with our free beach shuttle service. If you choose, it’s only a 900 meter walk to the beach with all kinds of fun shopping along the way. We also have easy to read maps to help you out. The villagers are warm and very helpful.

Only 45 minutes from the airport, Kata Beach and Kata Town is very central for sightseeing. If its activities like elephant trekking or even a visit to the new Phuket aquarium, our tour desk can get you anywhere you want to go.

Phuket is rich in history and was popular for it’s wealth in tin and rubber as far back as the 17th century. The islands popularity as tourist destination is still relativity young. Phuket was named after the Malay word “bukit” meaning “hill.” This magnificent island is as beautiful as it is relaxing.

Kata Beach is also great for surfing. Surf season is May – October and In September Kata Beach is home to a Quicksilver surf contest.
