Air-conditioned throughout, with sauna, spacious, superbly furnished and equipped to the highest standard four room apartment with excellent old town location and style that mesmerizes. The name - Austere Elegance - truly reflects the apartment’s character by being simple but elegant, plush but without unnecessary frills. For a pampered stay in Krakow, this luxurious caters to all needs. The architects created an unique character for each room of this superb apartment making it an excellent choice for guests with sophisticated taste who desire an elite holiday rental.

Hall – a graceful gateway
A pleasant, wide foyer with an airy, attractive dining room at its end. The underling idea of the architects was to convert the hallway into a graceful passage by creating a strong contrast between the darkish elegance of the entire hall and the allure of the warm and bright dining area. Heavy oak table silhouetted against an old, richly ornamented door creates an ambiance of a secret passage to the unknown. The darkish elegance of the hall was reinforced by an unusual floor design: the flooring pattern is a successful experiment bringing to life the style of a long forgotten village garden path with a network of contrastive tree rings. The ‘living’ mosaic comes to its end at the end of the hall where it smoothly changes into the bright floor made of natural stone slabs.

Living room
Is our most cherished design. Its style is austere but elegant. The main highlight of this space is a wall of dark brown exotic wood featuring a custom made sculptural three dimensional “picture” made from pieces of patinated copper presented in an elegant wooden frame. A variety of copper surfaces within the work cast subdued light at different directions creating a truly warm atmosphere in the entire room. A classy set of dark brown leather furniture, ceramic decorations, exotic flooring, and wooden cabinets complement the picture of Austere Elegance living room.

Zen Rock Garden Bedroom
Experience ambiance of pure tranquility in our Zen Rock Garden Bedroom. Inspired by the world-famous Zen rock garden at Ryoan-ji in Kyoto Japan, we fell in love with the idea of combining Colonial Style with Japanese Zen gardens of sand grains reflecting natural mountains and rivers. Embedded in the floor, enormous lit aquarium displays a soothing sand and stones landscape that soothes your stress. The bed itself is a simple and beautiful design based on the idea of one curved line. Behind the bed, we have created a beautiful hideout we call ‘window in the window’ effect. A large wooden frame encapsulates the window frame creating a bench divided by a little coffee table. Underneath, a set of old chests creates truly colonial feeling.

Colonial Flavor bedroom
The bedroom welcomes you with gigantic, hand-made-to order ceramic wall design reflecting three dimensional, wall climbing tree branches. The decor is extremely sophisticated and romantic. The bedroom’s furniture is dark brown and thus very elegant. It has beautiful wardrobe, practical shelves and most of all a large double bed. Lit from below, the lights create an effect as if the bed was floating over the floor.

Bathroom & Sauna
The comfortable and practical bathroom has a toilet, a bidet and a large stand-up shower. Excellent design of dark brown and bright tiles with surface reminding of classy leather silhouetted against them bright elements such as hand made to order ceramic washing basin and lit up wooden sculptures. Feel like walking barefoot on exotic flooring? The in-floor heating system will make your stay in this beautiful bathroom warm and pleasant. Attached to the bathroom is a transparent door leading to the sauna. Originally the old apartment featured a large windowless pantry – which simply demanded to be converted into the sauna for the enjoyment of our guests. It goes without saying that the Sauna has a stereo to add some ambiance to your leisure.

Second Bathroom
To serve the needs of such a spacious apartment, we've provided a second bathroom. The second bathroom has a large stand-up shower, a toilet and a washing basin. This bathroom is a bit smaller than the main one, but is still very comfortable and practical to use.
