A luxurious, self-contained, 1-3 person garden flat with sitting room, bedroom, fully fitted kitchen and shower room. There is a choice of superkingsize double or twin 3ft single beds: a 3rd person can be accommodated in the spacious sitting room if required and child's cot and high chair are also available at no extra charge. London is a sprawling city and most Londoners live in the suburbs. To really appreciate our city, you must live like a Londoner - give the expensive central hotels a miss and save money for travel and visits by renting a comfortable flat in one of the many delightful suburban villages that surround the city. Our apartment offers just that. Being close to the Tube with free off-street car parking - you can speed in or out of the city. We can arrange for a car to pick you up from the airport - and when you arrive, you will find that the beds are made up and ready for you to fall in to recover from your journey. This really is the perfect location for your London pleasure or business visit.
The kitchen is fully equipped with an impressive inventory of crockery, cutlery and utensils and all bed and bath linen are suplied.

Satellite TV with internet facility, VCR, DVD player, hifi, 2nd TV in bedroom, 2 telephones (direct line), trouser press, hair dryer and tongs, washing machine, dishwasher, microwave, electric hob and fan oven, large fridge/freezer, waste-disposer, food mixer. For guests with suitably equipped laptops there is Wi-Fi broadband internet access.

RICHMOND PARK
1½ miles. One of London's great parks. Teeming with deer, popular with model boat, aircraft and kite enthusiasts. Watch a game of polo, go riding, have tea at PEMBROKE LODGE and visit the beautiful , Isabella Plantation famous for its magnificent Rhododendrons and Azaleas.
RIVER THAMES
Close by at PUTNEY (1¼ miles, 2 tube stops or short bus ride to Putney Bridge). Delightful riverside pubs.
STATELY HOMES
Several Stately homes are within easy reach including:- Hampton Court Palace (9 miles, 27 mins drive, easy access from A3, or 30 mins by train) Ham House (8 miles, easy access through Richmond Park) Clandon Park (25 miles, easy access from A3) Polesden Lacey (18 miles, easy access from A3) Windsor Castle (39 mins by train).

There are excellent local restaurants of many cuisines and take-away meals can be ordered by telephone for delivery to your door.
SHOPPING
There is excellent shopping. The local Southfields shops should cater for all your needs. There are 3 banks and 3 well stocked supermarkets are open from 8am to 11pm (Sundays 9.30am to 10.30pm). Neighbouring Wimbledon, Kingston and Richmond all have big department stores and several shopping malls and hypermarkets are within a few minutes bus or tube ride or drive. Always at weekends there are excellent local antique fairs, craft markets and car-boot sales.
SPORTS
Plenty of sports facilities close by including golf, riding, boating - and tennis of course! You can watch greyhound and stock car racing at Wimbledon Stadium, horse racing at nearby Epsom, Sandown Park and Kempton Park and, during June/July, there's Wimbledon Tennis. There is also an excellent fitness and health club within easy walking distance with membership available to guests at very reasonable rates.

Surrounding Area & Lesiure - Vacation Apartment London |
The apartment is situated in a conservation area in London's leafiest suburb yet just 25 minutes from the heart of the West End, located 18 minutes walk from Wimbledon Tennis and 12 minutes by Tube from Earls Court, 3 1/2 minutes walk from Southfields Underground station (zone 3, Wimbledon branch of District Line) with a frequent service to Central London (23 mins journey time). It is also close to Putney and Wimbledon main line stations for trains to Waterloo, Windsor and Hampton Court.
To come to Southfields from Gatwick, if you don't have a lot of luggage,
take a train from Gatwick to Wimbledon via Clapham Junction. The
journey time is about 3/4 hour and the fare is approx 7 GBP. At
Wimbledon, take the underground to Southfields (2 stops, about 5 mins).
To come to Southfields from Heathrow, take the Piccadilly Line to Earls
Court and change on to the Wimbledon Branch of the District Line to
Southfields.
To come to Southfields from Waterloo take a train to Wimbledon . There
is a frequent train service and the journey time is about 14 minutes.
At Wimbledon, take the underground to Southfields (2 stops, about 5
mins).
We can also arrange for car pickup from airport. The cost of cars is
approx £32 from Heathrow and £40 from Gatwick but could be more,
depending upon unscheduled landing delays and consequent additional
parking and waiting time. If you have a lot of luggage, an estate car
costs an addtional 5 GBP If you have more than 4 passengers, a 6 seater
car costs an additional 13 GBP

- From A3 at Tibbets Corner Junction - (Kingston Road/West Hill, Putney
Hill/Wimbledon Park Side)- Take Parkside road towards Wimbledon and turn
immediately left into Withycombe Road leading into Princes Way - then
take 2nd left into Keevil Drive and go down to Beaumont Road. Turn right into Beaumont Road and then immediately left in Skeena Hill -
take 1st right into Combemartin Road. Number 24 is about 300 yards along
