Before you rent my beach house, I would like to tell you a bit about myself, the home and where it is located. I moved from Germany to Cancun 20 years ago and worked in big hotels. 13 years ago I found the House on the beach of Puerto del Cuyo and felt in love with the area. We remodeled it with patience to what became our and others favourite hideaway, where it is possible to relax and enjoy the beach and the warm climate. It is away from the masses on a beautiful quiet beach, only 1200 ft away from the main square of the town, restaurants, bakery, church, internet, Golf cart rental, Atw´s, etc. The town streets are all still pure sand, similar to those in Holbox, and give it a cosy and laid back feeling. The locals are friendly, respectful and hospitable like in the other places you visited in México. Prices of the local stores are inexpensive and the goods are fresh. My caretaker Magally will give you the key and gladly help out during your stay.
Puerto del Cuyo is a charming fisher village close to Mayan ruins, underground rivers, cenotes and Spanish colonial cities. Away from the mass tourism of Cancun you will still be able to relax in the Mexican sun enjoying the flair of a real Mexican coastal village.... before it will be discovered by the masses.

Vw Bugs for 219 usd for 4 days. The Hacienda Antigua Villa and Suite is a cosy hideaway for everybody budget orientet that enjoys the real Mexico without the tourists. Hidden under coconut palm trees, you may relax in your hammock, watch the birds during the day and the stars at night, take a swim in the ocean that you have practically by yourself, or take mile long beach walks and collect seashells that have been washed up by the ocean current over night, or simply do nothing.
The House is fully furnished and ready to be moved in at any time. The 800ft2 Villa has a Masterbedroom with a Kingsize Bed, fully equipped kitchen, terrace, bathroom and livingroom. The 300ft2 Suite has 2 more dbl beds in one room, small kitchenette, bathroom with shower and its own seperate entrance.
You may rent the Villa together or separate from the Suite, or vice versa. Prices shown are for the Suite.

After that, join us on a 1 Hour Orientation Tour by Golf Cart in El Cuyo, its fun and you get to know where all the important things are that you need to know while you are vacationing in El Cuyo.
