Welcome to Casa Nova d'en Borra, a traditional Catalan masia situated just south of Girona and a hop, skip and a jump from Girona airport. Easy access to the Costa Brava coast, Barcelona and France.
We don't promise you anything but a fabulous house in a beautiful location with the chance to spend quality time with family and friends, to experience Catalunya; a taste of the Mediterranean.

An ideal venue for friends and family to meet, for small to large groups, short break, weekly rentals, long lets.

Group size A - maximum, up to 18 people - Low 1600. Mid 2050. Early/Late Summer 2250. High 2700.
Group size B - medium, up to 12 people - Low 1200. Mid 1750. Early/Late Summer 1950. High 2400. As advertised.
Group size C - smaller, up to 6 people - Low 900. Mid 1350. Early/Late Summer 1650. High 2100.

This renovated masia has everything that you could ask for and more -traditional character, modern comfort with a sense of light and space. It is a well appointed, well decorated house, with all that you need for a comfortable stay.

Set within a private estate, yet not isolated - the medieval village of Brunyola and it's restaurant is a two minute drive, various shops, supermarkets, cafes and restaurants are all within 10 minutes and 15 minutes takes you right into Girona city centre, with Barcelona an hour to the south. It is ideally located for guests to enjoy all aspects of Catalunya.

Casa Nova d'en Borra has six bedrooms, sleeping a maximum of 18 people. There are five bathrooms and a seperate ground floor toilet. Two cots are available. Fresh bed linen and plenty of towels are supplied, and two hairdryers.

The masia, front garden and pool face south - ideal for enjoying the sun all day, with open views across the fields to the cork wood and hazelnut grove. There is a pool safety fence and the front garden is walled and fenced, allowing you to relax whilst your children play. Outwith the garden are further areas to explore, play in, have forty winks in a hammock, to play boules.

One of the masia's best features is the large roofed porch. Most living is done under it's sheltering roof - winter lunches, late summer evenings, a chilled aperitif, a game of scrabble. There are wooden extendable tables, ceiling fans, bbq, fridge and sink.

The masia has constant hot water. The great thick walls and shuttered windows are ideal for keeping the masia cool in the summer, feel the temperature difference as you walk in, and all is cosy in the winter with central heating and a wood burning fire. Every room has either or both a ceiling fan or free standing fan, including the hall.

Catalunya and Girona Province enjoys all the seasons, yet is an ideal all year round destination. Some people call it the "sunny side of the Pyrenees" and certainly have many, many sunny days, particularly enjoyable in winter - real-feel good weather, clear blue skies and sunshine. It has a fantastic climate for enjoying mild winter days, the fantastic spring blossom, true warmth of the summer sun with a dry, comfortable heat, to balmy days wandering through the autumn markets. The pool is easily used from Easter through to late October. In general the province has superb weather, with lots of sunshine, without the extreme heat or cold of the south and interior, nor the rain of the northern side of the Pyrenees.

We are situated in the North East corner of Spain, 40 minutes south of the French border, 15 minutes south of Girona city centre and an hour north of Barcelona.
Set within a private estate in the country, we are 2km and 3km from two villages with the ideal setting of a rural location with easy access to all facilities and the charm of Girona.

Transport links are excellent. Ten minutes from the AP-7 road, 15 minutes to the train station for a day trip into Barcelona, 30 minutes to the high speed rail connection from France to Figueras.

Girona - 10 minutes.
Perpignan - 60 minutes.
Barcelona - 60/80 minutes.
Reus - 120 minutes.
Carcassonne - 120 minutes.
Beziers - 120 minutes.

The closest beach is a 30 minute drive with fabulous beaches and waterparks for all the family to enjoy.
The PGA Catalunya golf course is nearby, Golf Girona, or family fun at Franciac Pitch and Putt.

Arrival

During high season we prefer Saturday to Saturday rentals, minimum 7 nights.
The rest of the year we are flexible with arrival days, dependant on exisitng bookings.
Low and Mid season - minimum of 2 night rentals.
