Calonge is a beautiful, authentic Spanish village with many cultural and historical attractions.
The weekly market, excellent restaurants and its location in the foothills of the Gavarres make it a favourite destination for many Spanish and foreign visitors.
In spite of this Calonge has managed to retain its village charm.
The scattered location of the various pretty suburbs gives the area a tranquil and, above all, rural feel.
Along the beaches you will not only find the extensive boulevard between St. Antoni de Calonge and Palamos, but also a number of pleasant playgrounds for children where you can spend an enjoyable couple of hours.
What makes these locations attractive is that they are not overwhelmed with tourists. People seeking peace and quiet can therefore enjoy the various small coves and beaches that are so characteristic of the Costa Brava.
The incredibly beautiful hinterland (the Gavarres) offers endless sports and/or recreational possibilities and the beach is 5 km away.
Casa Ance is located on the river Ganga in a beautiful wooded area that forms part of the Gavarres nature reserve.
When they built their dream home, the owners took into account the use of a wheelchair and the entire ground floor is appropriately adapted.
The house has also been built on a level plot of land.
