Vacation Home Chania - Crete

All our five (5) dwellings are two-storey (maisonettes) with unlimited view to the mountain and the sea. They are exclusively built in stone and wood to match their surroundings.
Each is built at a different level due to the ground's steep slope, with common courtyards as well as independent verandas or balconies and quiet corners.
They are decorated with many small folklore objects and antiques. All incorporate the same comforts and luxury, although they differ in size and layout.
They share an outdoor heated swimming pool, gym with steambath room, barbeque area with an exterior dinning place and a traditional cafe which offer only traditional local and home made products.

The traditional settlement of Samonas is a complete neighbourhood located in the village of Samonas, in the district of Apokoronas, at an altitude of 400 m and at a distance of 25 km from Chania.
The village still preserves its picturesque character since it is really very small and has very few inhabitants. Their main occupation is stock-raising, agriculture and apiculture.
The settlement is built on a hill slope and it has such an orientation that it offers an impressive view from all dwellings.
Looking over from the settlement's location, we get the impression that we could touch the Lefka Ori, or dive into the vast Cretan sea.

Apokoronas Prefecture is well known for its hospitable inhabitants, its beautiful traditional villages and the unique nature beauty. It is worth visiting all of them, since each one has its own particular colour, traditions, folkways and history.
