Wake up on the shores of Lough Corrib in this unique home. Have morning coffee on the patio while taking in the breath-taking views of islands, mountains and lake. Relax and unwind in this tranquil oasis, yet incredibly, you are only 25 mins. drive from the heart of Galway City. In the evening enjoy the stunning sunsets and listen to the lapping of the shore. This is a beautiful architect designed three-bedroom lakeshore property situated on the eastern shore of Lough Corrib secluded but not remote and a renowned trout fishing spot. Built in 1970 the house has maple flooring and pirana pine beamed ceilings throughout it's three reception rooms. Travel is by car and Ballycurrin is 4 miles from Headford town, which has all amenities including shops, pubs, choice of restaurants and a large supermarket.
The house has all mod cons, satellite TV and is finished to a high standard. In summer there is safe swimming in the lake, walking, fishing (row boat and fishing rods incl.) or just relax on the large wraparound patio. For winter months enjoy sitting by a homely fire, read a book, play pool, snooker and darts or just sit and admire the beautiful views in this tranquil setting.

I have a family of 4 and we found most relaxing. The lake is at the front gate. Very peaceful. The house has all the mod cons and we will be back.

Perfect peace and wonderful view of the lake. The beautifully equipped kitchen made for relaxed evening meals and there was lots of entertainment available on site without having to go out. The wild weather added to our enjoyment. Lovely cosy fire at night. Can't wait to come back in the summer and get out on the lake. Friendly owners made us very welcome. What a great place to spend a holiday.

Tres jolie et agreable demeure au bord du lac. Par contre, grosse surprise au niveau du chauffage... Il faisait 3 degré dans la maison en novembre 2009. La maison n'etait pas chauffée!
Nous avons eu une note de 80 Euro deduit sur la caution de chauffage pour 4 jours!!! Sois disant fuel consommé...
De plus la caution nous a été rendu en cheque . Frais bancaire: - 30 Euro.
Le proprietaire ne parle pas un mot de francais...
