A traditional provincial holiday home on 3200 m2 of grounds in the heart of Luberon National Park, famous for its magnificent panorama. This paradise is for vacationers looking for calme, nature, culture and sports.
The residence of 235 m2 cosists of 7 bedrooms (for 13 to 15 people), two living rooms (one with billard and the other with a fire place), a mezzanine with a library, 3 bathrooms with toilets and one separate toilet, a spacious kitchen and two terraces, one of them covered.
The comforts are modern: T.V., video, dishwasher, clothes washing machine, micro wave, oven, two large refrigerator-freezers, telephone, internet WiFi and a two-car garage.
A private roman-style swimming pool (15x6m), terraced on two sides, is at disposition from easter through october. There is a covered poolhouse with a built-in barbeque and summer kitchen. The area is well-equipped with garden furniture, lounging chairs and a ping-pong table. A sauna with shower and toilette in the poolhouse is available upon request (? 70/week).
Sports available on-site: Petanque, table tennis, billards, speedball, volleyball.
Sports available in the area (0-20km): Equitation, caoeing, kayaking, golf, VTT, bicycling, climbing, fishing, sailing and trekking.
The center of the village of Lacoste is only a 15 minute walk from the property and offers conveniences such as a bakery, 3 restaurants, a newsstand, post office. The Château of the Marquis de Sade (recently purchased by Pierre Cardin), perched above this lovely village frequented by artists and the famous cedar forest are within walking distance (15 min.to 90 min.).
The towns of Apt and Cavaillon are a distance of only 15 km and offer a wide range of commodities and diversions: shopping centers, boutiques, culturel events in summer (the white rock quarry of Lacoste in july) and at only a one-hour drive to the sea.
There are numerous breathtaking walking or trekking paths in this area (Avignon, Mont Ventoux, Fontaine de Vaucluse, Roussillon, Gordes, Lourmarin, Gorges du Verdon, Moustiers Ste. Marie and of course... the Luberon!).
Bedsheets, bath and kitchen towels can be furnished.
Firewood is included. Clean-up charges, bedsheets, bath and kitchen towels are included in the price for stays of two weeks or longer.
