The place is called Santa Maria di Castellabate, a small village located in Parco Nazionale del Cilento and Vallo di Diano, facing a bay with crystal blue sea between Licosa Island and Punta Tresino where diving and snorkeling can be played.
The area is also an archeology site being at only half an hour driving distance from Paestum excavations and one hour from Pompei.
The area is very good for long walks on the beach and for trekking trips.
